It is becoming more and more obvious to me that I truly am a girly girl.
I have been feeling very inspired by bohemian looks lately but it doesn’t seem like something I could pull off. Perhaps one day it will be possible, until then the pink, pearls and flowers have complete control.

Pins are a great addition to many outfits. I’ve always loved to fasten one to keep a scarf positioned at the neck, or on the lapel of a blazer. All of these pins have been acquired on eBay or at thrift stores over the years. My favorite would have to be the four leaf clover (bottom row). And it is clear I have a ‘thing’ for butterfly pins as well. They are stored in a small brocade jewelry box, making it the perfect size collection for a small space. Many of my other collections were left behind in storage like my crinolins, they take up a whole dresser! I also since childhood have collected pins and buttons from the olympics, concerts and around the world etc. What do you collect?

It was so hot yesterday! I only burned my right shoulder so that’s good, as usually I tend to get it a lot worse. Today I am taking a day off from the beach and spending time (covered in sunscreen) at my building’s outdoor pool and bbqing salmon. Good times.

And it’s not even her own vest.

What was that I was saying about red to attract…...

always a good color choice for a date.
