Hey! Do you not read Audi at Fashion for Nerds? (http://geekthreads.blogspot.com/) She's on your blogroll... Audi puts together a fair number of outfits with a 20s feel, using more modern layering that's TOTALLY curve-friendly.

(I spent most of high school dressing in actual 20s dresses or the 80s knockoffs of same, and I feel you on the unflatteringness of the drop waist to those with hips - being as wide as my widest point? Oh yes, sign me up!)

Anyway, I like dress number 2 the best. Dress number one has a bit too much going on, and dress number 3 is classic hip-widening material. But dress number 2 is also ripe for some Audi-style layering with an above-the-knee princess-seamed dress or vest, which could keep a 20s feel while still rocking an hourglass.

I lean towards #3 as being the most true to the '20's. #2 would be a more versatile piece to your wardrobe however as it isn't as 1920's/costume-like. I'd probably consider my wallet & the CPW (cost per wearing in the future) of the possibilities in my choice too.

You should get the third one! And with the gloves of the first pic. Little bag....and a sigaret in a holder... (that was 20s....i believe)

Good luck with your choice!
