On Who’s The Boss Samantha was an adorable tomboy fast approaching those formidable teen years with for the first time in her life female role models Angela and Mona. We grew up with her watching her personal style change through the 1980s to the early 1990s and it was always bonding time for me and my dad too. And I know I wasn’t the only one who cried when Angela and Tony finally got together.

Tomboy chic.

Feeling awkward in a dress.

Getting girly.

When she first diffused her hair.

When she cut it all off!

I loved this show. And it was really fun to watch her evolve throughout the years. I’ll never forget when she got her first bra!

- remember Chad Oakes invited us to the Calgary premier of her movie “Hugo Pool”…it had quite the cast – Robert Downey Jr., Cathy Moriarty, Patrick Dempsey, Malcolm McDowell, Richard Lewis, Sean Penn

I LOVED who’s the boss when I was in middle school. I thought Samantha was the coolest teen on tv. I think I had a few posters of her in my room in between Kirk Cameron and Tom Cruise.
