First I wanted to go Snow White with my hair and makeup. I was somehow inspired by Alice in Wonderland to wear sweet vintage pieces. Lastly to pull it all together Dorthy’s red slippers. Anyways, that was my thought process today.

Love It Would Be Much Better

Having the weekend off from blogging really helped me to get some things organized and I started off this week much more relaxed. I even had the time to plan a half dozen outfits, I’m really inspired by rich textures, pattern mixing, bold jewelry and jewel tones. I hope that I can bring this across in my outfits for the next couple of weeks. Also Gossip Girl is back on the air (and they opened with Serena dressed in bowed gloves and grey tones *le sigh*) as well as my guilty pleasure Tuesdays (90210 and Melrose Place) and ANTM (get ready for more recap posts!). I don’t how tv land expects me to go from watching barely any to 4 hours a week, we will have to see how it goes.

My Oscar Best & Worst Dressed

First off I’d go hands down Sandy Powell was the best dressed of the night but alas I could not find a photo of the three time Oscar winning Costume Designer, she had arms of bangles though. Edit: photo found on IMDB here.

Worst Dressed!
The bottom of this dress and the bracelet are so pretty, the rest of it as well as Mileys bad attitude on the red carpet (she was complaining about her heels) and poor posture were just the worst.

Lost in Wonderland

Thanks for all your thoughts on weekend blogging, I am not surprised that many of you read and blog on the weekends. I will continue to post on the weekends, perhaps with more timed posts as well.

The winner in the haircolor poll was a tie between red and darkest brown, and since I spent 2007 as a redhead I opted for the darker shade. I admit I already miss my blue.

What I wore to see Alice in Wonderland.

I am impressed I made the effort to dress whimsical for such an early (10am) show. The movie was really really good; though I’ve decided I don’t really like 3D, 2D is just fine for me.

P.S. Oscars post coming later today, yes I watched the whole thing!
